Rise in Architectural Billings Index

According to the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Architectural Billings Index (ABI) rose above the monthly mark of 50 for the first time since early 2008.  The ABI measures the amount of billings within architectural firms for design services.  A prolonged up-tick in this indicator can signal longer term growth rates in the construction industries.  To read more about this, you can find the AIA article online here:
